1994	Setting-up of mutual support group for parents with children suffering from congenital heart disease. Establishment of the Children's Heart Foundation through a substantial donation from Standard Chartered Bank.
1995	1st fundraising dinner with the support of Indian Women's Association and honorary advisor Mrs. Yasmin Mahboobani. 1st medical sponsorship for children receiving catheter intervention and pacemaker installation.
1996	1st promotional program of CHF with the support of CitiBank. Start of parents' outreach programme through ward visits and building relationship with CHF members. CHF membership:172
1997	Renovation of the Patient Resource Centre of Grantham Hospital with sponsorship from CitiBank. 1st CHF office opens Miss Cherry Man becomes first full-time member of staff. CHF membership: 304
1998	Establishment of Parents Support and Volunteers Group sub- committee and Fundraising sub-committee. Public donation boxes put in branches of Tai Pan Bread & Cakes, Saint Honore Cake Shop and Marathon Sports. 1st Annual Exhibition on Children's Heart Health and 1st Christmas Party. CHF membership: 460
1999	5th Anniversary Fundraising dinner cum charity bazaar. 1st Nitric Oxide Delivery System purchased for the paediatric ward at Grantham Hospital. 1st program bringing medical expertise from overseas to advocate Homograft treatment. Provided medical sponsorship for homograft treatment. 1st Raffle Campaign CHF membership: 547
2000	Purchase of 2nd Nitric Oxide Delivery System. 1st sponsorship of Berlin Heart Pump. 1st Heart-to-Heart Charity Walk, guest of honour Mrs. Alice Chiu. Charity dinner at Government House, guest of honour Mrs. Anson Chan, Chief Secretary of Administration. Charity Golf Tournament at Hongkong Golf Club, guest of honour Mr. Eric Tsang. First Collaborative Programme on Management of Congenital Heart Disease, co-organised by HKU, Great Ormond Street Hospital, London, the Grantham Hospital and CHF. CHF membership: 597
2001	House of the Heart opens, providing accommodation for parents of hospitalized children. Charity dinner at Tung Lok Hin restaurant, guest of honour Miss Gigi Leung. 2nd Heart-to-Heart Charity Walk, guests of honour Mr. Nicholas Tse and Mr. Eason Chan. Purchase of the Ventricular Assist Device for Grantham Hospital. Launch of the CHF Website CHF membership: 740
2002	3rd Heart-to-Heart Charity Walk, guest of honour Mr. Tsang Yam Pui, Commissioner of Police. Purchase of the Radiofrequency Energy Generator and Catheters for Grantham Hospital. CHF membership: 862
2003	1st year of being a beneficiary of Operation Santa Claus organised by RTHK and SCMP. PSVG reformed as Parents Support Committee (PSC). 4th Heart-to-Heart Charity Walk, guest of honour Mrs. Carrie Lam, Director of Social Welfare Department and Mr. Peter Wong, CEO of Standard Chartered Bank (HK). 2004	10th Anniversary of CHF Appointment of first Children Heart Ambassador: Mr. Andy Hui. Purchase of Echocardiograph Machine for Grantham Hospital. 5th Heart-to-Heart Charity Walk with guests of honour Mr. Paul Tang, Director of Social Welfare Department, and Mr. Peter Sullivan, Deputy CEO of Standard Chartered Bank (HK). CHF membership goes through 1,000 barrier
2005	Purchase of Volumetric Infusion Pumps and Transport Incubator for Grantham Hospital. Children's Heart Health Campaign launched and it focused on primary and secondary schools in Central and Western districts. Doctors from the Paediatric Cardiac Unit at Grantham Hospital speak to the children about congenital heart disease and discuss the display panels mounted at the exhibition that accompanied the talks. 6th Heart-to-Heart Charity Walk with guests of honour Mrs. Carrie Yau, Permanent Secretary for Health, Welfare and Food and Mr. Peter Sullivan, CEO of Standard Chartered Bank (Hong Kong) Ltd. 2006	Purchase of Transcatheter Cryoablation for Supraventricular Tachycardia and Neonatal transport incubator for Grantham Hospital. 7th Heart-to-Heart Charity Walk with guests of honour Dr. York Chow, Secretary for Health, Welfare and Food. CHF membership: 1,320
2007	Launched the 1st Academic Improvement Award Scheme. The award aimed to recognize and reward students who achieve academic improvement and show outstanding effort and improvement throughout the school year. Appointment of Children's Heart Foundation Ambassador: Ms. Ella Koon. 7th Heart-to-Heart Charity Walk held at the Happy Valley Race Course, which promoted the benefits of regular exercise and the importance of a healthy lifestyle. The Hon. Patron Selina Chow, CHF Ambassador, Miss Ella Koon, Miss Casey Tse, Miss Monie Tung and Pak Ho Chau all actively participated in the walk. Almost 3000 people joined this fun event. 2008	To ensure comprehensive support for parents, the HOH had extended its hours of operation from 24 hours a day, six days a week to seven days a week including Sunday and public holiday. We hope that this will enhance our services for families in need. The CHF Ladies Luncheon's theme "The Global Heart-beat" has highlighted the cause everyone embraced: to help children with congenital heart disease and their families. Guest of Honour Mrs. Anson Chan, Legislative Councilor, together with 160 guests from the professional and expatriate women in the community shown up to support the children with heart defect.
