The Heart-to-Heart Charity Walk 2011 which is the 12th walkathon had completed with success on 16 October at the Peak. Over 2,500 participants and over 230 volunteers joined the walk with over HK$900,000 raised.

With the theme of “Heart-to-Heart, Be-a-Part”, all participants are encouraged to walk in pairs with a bracelet binding them together to experience a shared feeling of care, tolerance and acceptance – a reflection of the sacrifice parents make for their sick children.

It was our pleasure to have the Permanent Secretary For Food and Health (Health), Mr. Richard Yuen, the Honorary Patron of the CHF, Mrs. Selina Chow, the Cluster Chief Executive of HK West Cluster and Hospital Chief Executive of Queen Mary Hospital, Dr. C C Luk, Chief of Service of the Department of Pediatric Cardiology of Queen Mary Hospital,Dr. K T Chau, the Chairlady of CHF, Ms. Jenny Cheng, the “Heart-to-Heart Charity Stars” Miss Toby Leung and Miss Vangie Tang, together with various local celebrities to participate in the event, appear on stage and promote children's heart health.
