The Children's Heart Foundation (CHF) will hold the "2024 Heart-to-Heart Charity Walk" on Sunday, October 13, 2024, at Peak Galleria.
Since 2000, the Heart-to-Heart Charity Walk has been one of our major annual fundraising events. It aims to raise public awareness of congenital heart disease, promote a healthy lifestyle based on exercise, and raise funds to support the foundation's various services. This year marks the 30th anniversary of the CHF, and the theme of the event is "Marching with Children's Heart" symbolizing the beginning of a new milestone for the CHF. In addition to maintaining existing services, we will also develop new projects to meet the increasing needs of patients, providing more comprehensive support to member families.
The CHF is a registered charity committed to serving children with congenital heart disease and their families, the running of the organisation is entirely dependent on donations. The CHF provides wide range of service like financial support for treatment; purchasing medical equipment; counseling service, arranging oversea surgeons to come to Hong Kong; overnight accommodation for parents of the hospitalised children; and organising regular educational, developmental and supporting programmes, as well as providing emotional and psychological support to the children and their families.
