Introduction
Children suffering from heart disease often face greater challenges than classmates of the same age. To promote a positive attitude towards learning and encourage students to work hard, the CHF Academic Award Scheme was firstly introduced in 2007.
The “Academic Improvement Award” recognizes the effort of children made towards their study while the “Academic Excellence Award” recognizes the outstanding achievement of the students. Heart disease youths who sit for Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Examination (HKDSE) 2018 are eligible for applying for the “Academic Excellence Award” in the “Open Session”.
