The 15th CHF Heart-to-Heart Charity Walk 2014 took place on 12 October at the Peak. Over HK$1.7 millions was raised with the support of nearly 5,000 participants and over 200 volunteers. We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the sponsors, supporters, donors volunteers and, of course, everyone who took part in the walk.

Under the theme “Pump up to help children with heart disease”, participants were encouraged to show their support to children with heart disease and families by walking the 3km Peak Morning Walk Trail and making balloon art. We were pleased to have Artist Miss Angie Cheong appear on the stage to share her experience and stories as a parent of son with a heart disease.

On the day, it was our honour to have Prof. Sophia Chan of the Under Secretary of Food and Health Bureau as the Guest of Honor. She joined hands with Dr. C.C. Luk, Honorary Advisor of CHF, the Hospital Cluster Chief Executive of HK West Cluster and Hospital Chief Executive of Queen Mary Hospital, Mr. Duncan Pescod, the Chairman of the CHF, Dr. K.T. Chau, the vice-chairman of CHF and Chief of Service of Department of Paediatric Cardiology of Queen Mary Hospital and Miss Angie Cheong to promote heart health and support children with heart disease.
